Watch the Night Sky and Actually Know What You Are Seeing

»

Celestron Optics company has a really useful tool for observing the night sky:  The SkyScout Personal Planetarium.

SkyScout Personal Planetarium Photo

  • Identifies celestial objects with the click of a button
  • Locates over 50,000 stars, planets and constellations from built-in celestial database and provides scientific information for each object
  • Provides comprehensive text and audio descriptions providing history, mythology and other entertaining information for the most popular objects

This is just a really awesome way to learn what is out there in space.  There is no other way to know what you are looking at sooooo easily.

I have to get one of these!  Maybe my kids will get one for Christmas....hehehehe
