This looks like fun stuff! Hacking hardware is one of the latest trends and I am way into it. One thing to note however, it looks like some articles and books are just written to sell DIY hardware kits from the kit manufacturers. So, you might notice how some articles only reference one company in their work. That is one way to tell.
